The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) on Microsoft Windows® 2008 certification is designed for professionals who implement, manage, and troubleshoot existing Windows 2008-based systems. Implementation responsibilities include installing and configuring parts of the systems. Management responsibilities include administering and supporting the systems.

The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications enable professionals to target specific technologies and to distinguish themselves by demonstrating in-depth knowledge and expertise in their specialized technologies.
